Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SubTidy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SubTidy is a subscription management platform that helps individuals and teams track, optimize, and manage their recurring subscriptions. Features include subscription tracking, optional department-level seat allocation, renewal management, CSV import/export, and AI-powered cost optimization recommendations.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes attempting to access the Service through unauthorized means, interfering with other users, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and store all data encrypted at rest using industry-standard practices.

6. Subscription Plans & Billing

SubTidy offers three plans:

• Free — track up to 5 subscriptions with limited AI recommendations. No credit card required.
• Pro — $4.99/month or $49/year for individuals. Unlimited tracking, unlimited AI recommendations, waste detection, and advanced reports.
• Business — $14.99/month or $149/year for teams. Everything in Pro plus department cost allocation and full team-management features.

Paid plans are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, via a PCI-compliant hosted checkout page. We never see or store full card numbers. You may cancel your paid plan at any time from the billing settings page; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain paid features until that date.

7. Refunds

Because you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the billing period, paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will review the request in good faith.

8. Limitation of Liability

SubTidy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days, except payment records which we are legally required to retain — see the Privacy Policy for details. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
